Audrey Gariepy
I met Audrey at the University in 1999. I thought she seemed great and since I didn't have any good climbing partners, I decided to show her how to climb.....Audrey liked it right away and put all her other activities aside to have more time for climbing. Her natural abilities impressed more than one person......(including myself!). She now places the quickdraws for me in my projects!!
During the past few years, her climbing abilities improved really fast. The Canadian Rockies are her favorite playground for the ice climbing season. From "The Terminator" in the Rockies, "La Pomme d"<Or Direct in Quebec and "Mindbender" in Lake Willoughtby (Vermont).....she has climbed many long classic ice routes.....
Two time winner at the Festiglace du Quebec in team, She's placed 3rd at Ouray Ice climbing Festival and she placed 1st at the Quebec ice Cup for four years.
With her positive attitude, motivation and good energy, she is a really nice person to climb with.
